~ Come on in and Cover Me ~

Mark gets a no-prize that'll make his ears bleed for bringing us news of the worst, and best, cover songs of all time. For now. According to them, at any rate. I could've sworn I'd heard the top worst pick somewhere along the line. Maybe it was all just a bad dream.

Must also mention Erasure's *fabulous* covers of ABBA, particularly Gimme Gimme Gimme (A Man After Midnight) and Lisa Stansfield's *excellent* renditions of Never Never Gonna Give You Up (Barry White) and Baby Come Back (Player).

I would've thought that Sheryl Crow's "Sweet Child o' Mine" would've hit the list. Horrid, that.

And as much as I like t.a.t.u., they covered the Smith's "How Soon Is Now" and it'd gawd-awful.
