A Different Sort of Assassination?

The MSM is justifiably famous for trying to hammer the square peg of truth into the round hole of narrative, but can they carry it too far?

Wait a minute. This is the media we're talking about here. "Going too far" is something that happens to other people.

Why, yes, this foil hat does keep me warm in the winter. Thanks for asking!

I haven't heard any of these comments and you know I keep my TV on the news channels all the time. At my age and looking back on history I can't say I haven't had those thoughts

Glad you commented on this, as you're my "MSM-conventional-wisdom" guru. I had a feeling this might be a bit of right-wing foil-hattism, hence the joke. Which wasn't very good, but you get what you pay for, eh? :)

I am so pleased that McCain won the Florida primary today. Now if there was someway that John Edwards could pull off the upset of the year by winning the Dem. nomination then I might just vote for one of them in November. They are the only two that I could vote for.

My cynical side thinks that the MSM would almost want something like this. Imagine the amount of money they stand to make were this to happen. It's simply mind-boggling.

Now, honestly, I don't think it would. I think Obama would be a one and done POTUSA, but it'd be due to his complete lack of a solid plan backed by nothing but rhetoric more than anything else. And that assumes he could get elected - which isn't a done deal.

From what I've seen, he's the Democrats best shot, though. Edwards is a trial lawyer - and that'll cost him dearly. Hillary is too polarizing. So is Obama, to an extent - but at least he appears to be a nice guy.
