Say it ain't So!

What is the world coming to:

Diamonds are no longer a girl's best friend, according to a new U.S. study that found three of four women would prefer a new plasma TV to a diamond necklace.

What's next? Cats and dogs sleeping together? Mass hysteria?

SWEET!!!!

Now, if I can just convince Amber of this, and move to somewhere that'll be at the right angle to put up a @#$%@$^^#$@@!!## DirecTV dish, I can watch God's Team play in HD.

That and a few selective pieces of furniture and other stuff around the place, and I'd have Cowboys heaven here.

I especially like the lamp. Very subtle, tasteful. Hee!

How about a diamond ring that can project a 640 x 480 display for up to 5 hours on one hearing aid battery?

Well, it's sort of what I'm working on, here in my mad scientist lab...

Everything listed there is the epitome of taste and home decor fashion. At least in Dallas.

Besides, Amber likes blue, doesn't she?

Dream ON!!!!! Diamonds speak louder than Plasma T.V.'s in my mind-- I am sure the Ellen will agree with me. We are al about the diamonds!!

Add Cindy's name to Ellen, Amber and my name of course. I knew I could count on you guys. lol

Yes, but since you've already got a few diamonds (mounted in platinum, nonetheless), I think it's time for the large TV. Maybe not plasma. How about a large screen with a DLP projector* to complement the soundsystem we've already got? Imagine - we could watch God's Team play football on an 8'x8' screen!

*I tried to link to Tiger Direct and the InFocus IN76 projector, but that filter killed that idea...

Well, diamonds last forever while a plasma TV will be obselete in a few years...

Actually, I don't really think anything lasts forever, but you are correct in that a diamond will likely last longer than a TV or the aforementioned DLP Projector. However, to be fair, the electronics are useful whereas the diamonds mentioned are ornamental.

Maybe you could compromise and get a diamond plasma TV? ha.

Agreed that diamonds are *only* ornamental and normally enjoyed by one person (though admired by many), whereas a Projector and/or Plasma can be enjoyed by all. This is especially meaningful come football season.

All apologies, my computer locked up and I hit "post" twice. Sorry for the repeat.
