I really should check out scrappleface more often:
A presidential briefing, dated August 6, 2001, and released by the White House yesterday, shows that in 1998 George W. Bush did nothing to respond to the threat of terror attacks from Usama bin Laden's al Qaeda network.
I liked a line from "This Just In" regarding this very thing (paraphrased from memory):
"Everyone's looking for someone to blame 9-11 on. That's easy... Arabs.
How about fundamentalists? Fundamentalist Muslims. Sorta like the Christians who are so crazy they kill abortion doctors, but worse.

Now if only we could find a way to convince all those leftists who would happily beat Eric Rudolph to death with a baseball bat, to fight Muslims whose beliefs make him look like Mahatma Ghandi in comparison, with equal fervor, we might actually be able to win the War on Terror.
