Man Sentenced For Dissecting Guinea Pig He Thought Was Spy

Guinea pigs as govenment spies.

VENTURA, Calif. -- The father who dissected his daughter's guinea pig because he thought it was a government spy was sentenced to 50 days in jail -- time he's already served.

After dissecting the animal, he called relatives and said, "The good news is guinea bleeds. The bad news is guinea's dead," Connors told jurors during the trial.

I think this story is sad...on the guinea pig's side and the father's side. For a man to think this, he must have a psychological disorder. I would think advocates for the Americans' with Disabilites Act would have a problem with this sentence. Im surprised the Judge didnt think of all this. Maybe I should no more about the story...obviously the father should undergo some sort of psych evaluation.
