HOLY SH**!!!

Ever wonder what a spider the size of a standard wall clock would look like? Wonder no more. Once you're done getting the heebies from looking at this monster thing, be sure to read the comments underneath.

What I want to know is who had the guts to take the clock down. All I'd need to do is see just one of those legs move and I'd be out the door so fast it'd come off its hinges.

That's not quite as big as the one I saw on my back porch once. The big ones don't bother me as much as the little ones that run away so fast you can't see where they went, leaving you wondering whether it scooted under the sofa or is climbing up your pants leg.

!!!

!!!

Ok, that settles it. Lynn ain't never gettin a visit from me, except in cyberspace!

A spider as big as my fingernail is not something I'm afraid of. A spider as big as my head is something completely different. RRRRrrrrggg.

OH MY GAWD!!!!!

Forget the 8 foot long heavy metal tile puller that I pancaked a 3" wolf spider with; I'd need a 50 foot 75 pound sledge to get rid of that thing!
Cause I don't just hit once, I make sure it will NEVER move again (even in a hurricane).

I just had to see it. Now I'll be feeling and scratching all night. At least it won't be that long, as it's nearly three in the morning now.

Oh sweet Jesus, that even freaked ME out! I'm usually the go-to guy as far as spiders are concerned...but I'm sorry, someone else would have to save the day from this one.

I didn't want to hang around the site long enough to read where this thing was found...please tell me it wasn't in the US, especially the Seattle area.

Fuckin a. I can't belive that this thing is from around here.. And Mumblix, I'm pretty sure this thing was found in Indiana. And the shitty thing is that it's in my town. I swear, if I ever find one of those in my house, I don't know what the hell I'd do. I already avoid going in my (partially finished) basement because of the little ones!!!

Oops.. my bad.. probably isn't from around here. I feel for anyone who has spiders that big in their area.

I'm pretty sure it's a Goliath Bird Spider, a male one to be exact (be sure to check this pic out. These are found in the Amazon jungle. But I could easily be wrong. I can only hope those things don't live in the US.

After reading the comments I absolutely refused to look at this monster. I refused to look before I read the comments. I am also afraid to turn on my computer - what if it could get loose! Bad Scott you know how terrified I am of critters.

Okay, that thing can't be real.

I don't want to live anywhere with spiders that large. The small ones are a boon, though; our tortoiseshell thinks we've given her TOYS! TASTY toys!
