probably all of this happens at other stores - it's called driving up your stores profit margins. Doing this makes you look better to management, which in turn gets you promoted, which means more money for your family, crack, hookers, or whatever you want. At the big picture level, the company looks better to the stockholders, which means you get more money to play with.

Basic capitalism - until you get caught...

i work at toys r us and all the workers dont pay for their stuff ...the ones who been there a year or so...

My store is totally biased. Seems like there are "favorites" amongst us. Some people get written up for things that other people dont. Even if its the exact same situation with two different people. All because management is too chicken shit to address situations when they need to instead of waiting until employees start complaining about other employees. Then they step up their game and write someone up just to show they do hand out consequences. Its bull. If theyre gonna write up one person for something, everyone should get written up for the same thing. Like "being late" for example. Hmmm....
