Fabulous Places to Live

Not that there's anything wrong with that: the Advocate names the Gayest Cities in America, 2012. Those who bemoan the "benighted South" will likely be surprised by some of the selections. I know I was.

I admit to being a little surprised that

1) Memphis did not make the list (about 2/3 of the gay people I know are either from there, or went to Univ. of Memphis and stayed there after graduation), and that

2) Little Rock made the list.

Yeah, the choices were a little weird to me, but times do change. Maybe Memphis is so friendly it simply escaped notice?
