Chicken McPetri

Efforts to develop in-vitro meat for human consumption seem to be proceeding apace. The point that this concept actually isn't as gross as how industrial meat packing works is well taken. Oh, and the "secret funder?" I'd dig around in PETA's closet first to find them.

Dunno, PETA seems more like an organization desperately digging for further relevance after all reasonable measures they demanded have already been taken. Rendering them even more irrelevant by removing the "tragedy" of the meat packing industry is the sort of thing they'd oppose at this point, for the same reason they slaughter animals themselves in an effort to blame other people for their own cruelty. "Look, you've forced me to slaughter your herds of obsolete livestock just to prove my points valid! WHAT KIND OF MONSTER ARE YOU?"
