A Seat, for You-Know-Who

Jeff gets a no-prize with a hole in its roof just big enough to let God watch for bringing us news of yet another of Jerry Jones' clever marketing ploys. Ron'll probably pick up three sets.

Looks like the ideal (for Amber) Christmas gift for Ronno...

That would be absolutely bitchin'. However, at $650 a pop, it's kind of out of reach. However, if you think about it, this is probably one of the greatest marketing ploys out there. I believe the stadium sat about 70K, so that's 35K pairs at $650 a pop. Works out to about $22,750,000 in gross profits. Even assuming a full hour of labor for each set of seats (removal, packaging for shipping, actual shipping, customer service time, etc.), this is a huge bargain. At $50/hour (blended and loaded), we're looking at $1.75M in costs, so a net profit of around $21MM.

Not too shabby.
