Chicken Little in the Bathroom

So now it would seem we can even chalk up kidney stones to global warming. I always thought the bedrock of science was a firm understanding of cause and effect. It seems I was wrong.

GODDAMMIT!!!! This is FRICKIN' science here, people. Kidney stones are NOT caused by global warming. To suggest so it stupid on a new level. Kidney stones are caused by some combination of poor diet and lack of appropriate hydration levels. Too much meat, cheese, vitamin C, etc. Lack of enough water to flush the minerals out when the crystals are small. Not global warming or Anthropogenic Climate Change.

Might as well blame McDonalds for making people fat, TV for making them stupid, and on and on. Remove any personal responsibility whatsoever.

For serious - next thing we're going to see if the fashionistas blaming GW/ACC for the rising incidences of fatty's in thongs.

If it wasn't Global Warming, it would be flouridation. People just can't seem to keep control of their precious bodily fluids.

Science itself is under a coordinated attack. As LGF has been noting recently, Islamic "moderates" have been heavily subsidizing intelligent design advocates here in the US, particularly the Discovery Institute. The global warming flap is another effort that is flanking scientists on the left side, and the goal of both is the same: to eliminate science itself as an intellectual theory, as thoroughly as possible.

Not to Godwin this thread, but the Holocaust showed how scientific methods could be used to methodically and effectively eliminate entire population demographics. There is reason to believe that they could be just as effectively turned to eliminating science itself, just as thoroughly. Quite frankly, we should be treating this much more seriously than we are.
