As if I Needed Another Reason

At first I thought Obama might be a Democrat I could at least trust not to run the economy into a wall. Now I'm not so sure:

There are two general themes to his message that he has begun, to be fair, to articulate in more detailed fashion. At home, there will be an increase in taxes—income, estate, payroll—to fund more government health care, education, and general entitlement programs. The old Reaganesque notion that government subsidies can make one more dependent, angrier, and envious is forgotten, along with the notion that lower taxes stimulate economic growth and encourage risk-taking, innovation, and independence. I worry especially about the lifting of income caps (how far?) on social security taxes inasmuch as they were part of the original covenant justifying the caps on benefits paid out.

Distortion, you say? Prove it.

Meh

I wouldn't vote for Obama period.

The man is ashamed of his own middle name and anything that links him to being Muslim (Instead of confronting this he whines about folks smearing him)

Just read an artical that says he is acusing the Clinton Campaign for releasing a photo of him in Native African Dress (When he was in Africa) because it was fear mongering 0.o

Don't even get me started on his tax idea! You think ppl have a hard time affording their houses now..

Plus I do not think we need to be paying for healtcare for ppl that are too lazy to get a job, sit on their asses all day and collect from the government for some bullshit injury that is faked at times. PLUS I know of someone that used to work here at my clinic (past employee-no Scott, not the one you think of) that had 10 kids and expected the government to pay for care for them.

He isn't Muslim but I have a very hard time with his name. lol Would being willing to consider voting for him if he would give more information. He gives a wonderful speech but where is the beef.

I'm not going to vote for a guy who has declared himself so disgusted by the US that he won't even salute or put his hand over his heart for the Pledge of Allegiance. That's the sort of attitude that destroys nations, and handing over command of the US military to someone like that would be the biggest, and possibly the last, mistake we would ever make.
