RIP: Nancy Lynn

The great "mother-and-son" aerobatics squad is no more:

A Saturday afternoon airplane crash at Culpeper Regional Airport claimed the life of Nancy Lynn, 50, of Annapolis. A 30-year veteran of the aviation industry, Lynn was killed during a solo acrobatic performance at Culpeper Air Fest 2006.

We've featured several different photos of Nancy's flying in the past two years. She put on an amazing show, and will be missed next year.

Nancy Lynn was my aerobatic flight instructor since 1996.Some of the best times of my life were flights that I have had with Nancy in her Extra300L airplane. We have been and always will be good friends.I miss her a lot.
Yours Truly,
