Meanwhile, at the Bottom of the Sea
The Nazi aircraft carrier Graf Zeppelin has been found. The Russians towed it away at the end of the war and then used it to train themselves how to sink an aircraft carrier. Just for giggles, mind you, no real opponent in mind and thank you for asking.
Well, it appears that it's possible to actually dive to it with proper equipment. From this story, it's a pain in the ass, but doable.
Okay - I looked up a site with info - you can dive this deep but you'll have to spend forever decompressing. However, your filter is hating on me right now, so I couldn't post it.
