On the Move

Slashdot linked up news that the Earth's magnetic pole is moving and accelerating. At the rate it's going, it could be in Siberia in the next 50 years, causing the northern lights to move away from Alaska.

The sound you're hearing are enviro-weenies's heads exploding, trying to figure out how to pin the blame on the Bush administration.

oh - that's easy. Cheney's weather-controlling hurricane machine (the one used to kill all those black people in New Orleans so the republicans would be guaranteed to win the next elections down there) has the side effect of shifting the pole. It's all part of Bush's master plan to kill all the flowers.

Oh that is easy. Take the arguments the r-wingers are using to blame it on Clinton and just change the name.

either way it's fairly easy. The question then becomes who does a better job of marketing it to whom.

Personally, I blame Carter. Damn peanut-loving hippy ruined everything.

Last I checked, enviro-weenies were loath to invoke God for any reason, even to accuse the Bush Administration of depriving us of His divine protection.

Funny thing is, both the left and the right hate Bush, just for different reasons. Only the moderates like him. Small wonder the left is discovering the likes of David Duke and Pat Buchanan supporting them.

I hate to think what would happen if a leader emerged that could pander to the far left, far right, and media all at the same time.
