Yea, it was Delivered, and Verily, it was Good

Slashdot linked up three reviews of Halo 2, and the consensus seems to be "A+". One guy didn't like the campaign very much, but the other two liked it a lot, so I can't help but think maybe the first one ran it through on the wrong difficulty level. Lord knows my appreciation for level design became a lot greater when I just sucked it up and started choosing the "hardest/demon/god-fearing/wtf??" difficulty settings on shooters. Anyone who plays more than three of these things a year should probably do the same.

Jamison LOVES Halo! When is this one being put out? Maybe Santa can bring it to him if it's before Xmas! LOL

Day after tomorrow. Wow, he really was distracted by the election! :)

He probably knew when it was coming out. I just didn't. LOL

hmmm - that means tomorrow is officially "slack the hell off at work day", or as it's more commonly known around here - home office day!

I wish ron. I am going to try and escape during lunch to pick up my copy, drive myself crazy by staring at the box the rest of the afternoon, go home have the magazine meeting and maybe squeeze in enough time to at least watch the opening of the game and shoot at least one bad guy.

yeah - after i wrote it i realized i have to be AT my first appt at 7:30am tomorrow, then off to several others, but i will pick the game up in between and get home soon enough to do some damage before amber gets home...

fyi - i picked it up at 8:30am today at chez target. if you buy the 'limited edition' version, you get a nifty metal case, the making of DVD, and you get the Bungee official game guide - complete with pictures and descriptions.

now if I can just finish all of my work soon enough, I can get a few hours in prior to Amber coming home...

I have my copy. I didn't opt for the limited edition (wanted to save the $10). But I figured some others would get it and I can watch the extra stuff then.

Can't wait until Saturday.
