USO! USO!

The Post gets an AMCGLTD hat-trick by running this third article on the latest USO tour of Iraq. One of the more surprising headliners? Al Franken:

Franken worked up a Saddam imitation so good (he'd borrowed a costume from "Saturday Night Live") that [country music singer Darryl] Worley says it was both hysterically funny and almost frightening.

I wonder if they'll film it?

Why is Franken considered a suprise headliner in your eyes? He has gone on many USO tours, especially to Iraq.

For the same reason he was a surprise to Mr. Worley... his vocal opposition. Maybe I should've made it clearer in that I thought it was a pleasant surprise. Franken can be damned funny!

Remember... just because someone has spoken opposition against the administration's actions does not mean that person is also in opposition of our troops. ;)

Yeah, he is a great comedian.
