I would say that vegans COULD eat the fake steak...but they won't. Remember, these are the types who live in fear of "genetically manipulated" fruit and vegetables, you know, the kind of produce that actually looks edible. The Green types would rather eat scrubby, worm-infested lettuce or carrots just so long as it was "organically" produced. I really have a hard time imagining them ordering a Pyrex porterhouse.
