Wrong Kind of Farm

Making the rounds: a man went into a hospital thinking he had lung cancer, only to discover it was pea plant instead. Yep, pea plant. Apparently he inhaled one instead of eating it. You'd think cooking would've prevented that sort of thing.

Reminds me of the story a couple years ago about a Russian (IIRC) man who had a small pine tree growing in his lung. Weird stuff!

Plant seeds don't get to choose where they sprout... they land wherever they land, and have to make the best effort to survive they can, no matter how inhospitable the environment. That's how they end up growing (poorly) from cracks in the concrete, in dark crawlspaces, and yes, even inside the bodies of other animals.
