A Different Sort of Air Power
It would seem all those "myths" about eagles taking children just got moved from "busted" to "plausible."
Warning: The video is definitely a "nature, red in tooth and claw" sort of documentary. If you're upset by that sort of thing, the very least you should do is turn down the sound. The narration isn't in English, so you won't miss anything.

Ok, mental note...if I go to Europe with y'all...we DON'T take Olivia on high mountain hikes in the Alps (or Pyrenees, or whatever).
I imagine the eagle in question is a Lammgeier (German: "lamb killer"), noted for doing just this sort of thing. I guess we can lower the "tool using" bar just a bit...to allow the lammgeier to use the mountain in much the same way as us using a .3006 rifle.
