Chicken Little... In... Spaaaacee...
To commemorate the recent shoot down of that defunct spy satellite, Space.com is carrying a top 10 list of the most memorable space junk hits. Considering the amount of crap up there, I'm surprised it doesn't happen more often.
I remember back in '79...my next door neighbor Angie was deathly afraid of going outside 'cause she thought Skylab was gonna fall on her...
Posted by: Mark on February 27, 2008 02:00 PMI seem to remember that, too. Except we were living in Maine and my brother and I were standing outside trying to see the pieces falling. And hoping they'd fall near us so we could be famous.
