Now if They'd Just Make an Inflatable Ferrari...

Blow-up plastic dolls? Bah! How about a blow-up concrete tent:

The Concrete Canvas product has been called inflatable concrete - and not without reason. It is designed to be a rapidly-deployable semi-permanent shelter that can be airlifted to any spot on the globe.

There's a similar concept used for building dome homes. Basically, you design a balloon in the interior shape for the home you want, add appropriate rebar, inflate, and start spraying on the concrete. You can have the structural dome of the house in a day (assuming that you've pre-layed the foundation).

Too bad Amber wants her house to look traditional.

Oh yeah - rammed-earth tire homes are out as well. As are the hay bale houses.
