Doing the Windows

The Washington Post today carried this article detailing the efforts around the restoration of the stained glass windows of the Cathedral of Our Lady of Chartres. Amazing to think most of it's nearly a thousand years old now.

I remember doing stained-glass church stuff when I was a kid (that was before me entering a church caused it to catch on fire...). Seemed pretty easy. I say they just take the windows down and give them to a bunch of schoolkids - they can call it an art project and it'll cost next to nothing.
