*Cough*Bullshit*Cough

WTF!?

What kind of asinine research is this?

Let's go over this AGAIN. You can get toxoplasmosis from a cat yes, in the rarest of cases. BUT you are more likely to get it from undercooked meat, unwashed vegetables and gardening without gloves on.

Oh yeah, washing your fucking hands too helps.

I am a Licensed Veterinary Technician. I've spent the past 12 years working with cats, and I handle fecal matter on a daily basis. I have never tested positive for it. If you need more research on this matter, I suggest you contact the American Association for Feline Practitioners.

Well I had cats all my life. And what's funny is that I have a ex husband, and fit that stero type. except for that trusting thing. I think it's just that lonely people tend to kept pets and cats are the perfect animal in aptartment besides fish. *still waiting on guppy babies* I guess watching a pregnant guppy isn't gonna rush the babies. LOL I have recently bought the fish and to have some guppies to feed the Oscar. But I have been struck by guppy love, and the big guy may never see a guppy, except in the tank next door.

7 years ago, when my wife was pregnant with our first child, due to the acknoleged minimal risk of toxoplasmosis (she grew up with cats,) I took over sole duty of litterbox maintenance. somehow, it's never gone back to a shared chore...
