Anyone watching Discovery, TLC, and/or National Geographic specials will quickly remember these things. For those who don't, they're the concotion of a Canadian who wanted to build the ultimate in bear protection. I can't recall if he ever managed to get a bear to attack one of them. It'd probably be pretty challenging... bears have a reputation for cutting and running if they think something fishy's going on.
