Ellen Probaby Knew What "micturition" Meant, but I Didn't

Want to know why soap expands in the microwave? Why the sky is blue? How to make a potato battery? All these things and many, many more are available at The Mad Scientist Network. Very cool, highly recommended.

Ahhh....she beat me to it.

Epistaxis.....nosebleed.

Dysuria.....painful urination.

Oliguria.....scant urine.

I'm full of medical words. Ask me anything!

I could explain a blue sky after my 8th grade science class, we did the potato battery in high school, and I'm pretty sure I can figure out the soap in the microwave bit.
Now, the words would be my stumbling block. I can deduct most, but not all (that's what the dictionary, thesauras and Internet are for).
We are all repositories of info (most of it not brought up very much in everyday life, but eventually needed).
Little man is going to have fun with science (if I have any say) when he gets a little older. Experiments and demonstrations galore.
