This news about really cool sunspot photos has been making the rounds, but I figured I'd link it up here as well. Space.com's coverage is better anyway! :)

So are the black "spots" and "pores" actually holes or pits on the 'surface' of the sun?
Magnetic pull in or out?
The writer of the article left me with more questions than I had starting out. If they do a follow-up, please post it. Thanks.
