No, it's not a drink. Read about a reporters experience of a colonic.
Too funny!! I think I would quit if I got that assignment.

The "not a drink" thing is an inside joke between Ellen and me. There are some words and phrases that are spoken but never explained, and sometimes you're too embarassed to ask what it actually means. As a kid I'd heard the phrase "high colonic", but never with enough context to understand exactly what it was. For some reason I got it in my head that it was some sort of fancy cocktail. It wasn't until I was in college that I learned otherwise, watching a movie. I was embarassed but thankfully had never actually said anything like "I'd like a high colonic" to a bartender.
I was drinking coffee when I read Scott's comment. Now I have to go find something to clean off my monitor. Coffee is sticky stuff. LMAO
I do have very interesting relatives.
I thought "High Colonic" was some place you went when you mediated. Clicking the little cymbals and saying "ommmmmm" and your eyes roll back in your head and when you're done you say, "Oh, I just went to my high colonic place, I feel so relaxed!"
